1. Volunteer: Been There, Done That. Changes and Challenges
   

   ICYE EA is planning on applying for a Training Course under the Youth in Action Programme (sub-action 4.3) targetting ex-participants (returnees) of international volunteering programmes, who have finished their voluntary experience at least 6 months prior to the event. This meeting will last 5 days and will be held in Belgium. The aim of the meetings is for participants to reflect on their volunteering period abroad and evaluating the long-term effect it might have had on them, both in terms of personal and practical benefits. Which areas of life where influenced? Career, education, family, friends, …? We will put a special focus on the long- term effects of volunteering, this is why we target ex-participants who have returned home at least 6 months prior to the meeting.
